                                                            Snape’s Potion Lesson.

In chapter eight of Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone, Snape dislikes Gryffindor.  Firstly, Snape blames Harry for Neville’s accident. Neville was mixing potions and managed to melt a potion into a twisted blob which melted all over the stone floor, and then Snape yelled at Harry for Neville’s own accident. Secondly, Snape showed that he liked Slytherin best, rather then Gryffindor. When Snape was teaching the potion lesson he would criticize Gryffindor (mostly Harry) and not Slytherin. Thirdly, Snape seemed to favour Malfoy. When Snape was judging Harry as bad, he would seem to always like Malfoy who was in Slytherin. In conclusion, Snape seems to be cruel and judgemental man.
